What form of payment do we accept?
Cash, Check, Master Card, Visa, Discover and American Express.
How much is the retainer fee to book the date?
1,500. The remaining balance is due 60 days before the event date.
How many hours does the rental fee include?
What's the weather contingency plan for outdoor ceremony?
We got this… We will set the reception area up when you arrive to make sure you are are ok with how everything looks and then we will flip the indoor space into a ceremony set up.
What is the cancellation policy?
The retainer fee is non refundable. We encourage our couples to look at other venues and make sure that Koru is the venue that they want without a doubt.
Can we have our rehearsal dinner here?
Absolutely. We can ether set up chairs and tables inside upstairs, downstairs or in the courtyard. You are responsible for the food or caterer.
Can we bring in our own caterers?
Absolutely. We at Koru want you to have the wedding that you envision.. not the venues idea of your wedding. If you want a taco bar? so be it, Sushi? so be it. You get what I’m saying.
Can we bring in our own alcohol and beverages?
Yes. as long as you provide event insurance coupled with liquor liability . This is accomplished with your own insurance provider or we can provide one for you.
Are you licensed to provide alcohol?
Our Mobile bar business can provide alcohol for your event. Details are at www.thehopsandhotrods.com
Can we use real candles, confetti or glitter?
LOL, that’s a hard no. We do allow led candles which have come a long way and are very beautiful.
Are we allowed to bring in our own decorations?
Absolutely! We also have a “borrowed room” where couples are welcome to browse and use whatever they wish for their event day.
Are plates, silverware, and cups provided?
Koru does not provide any plates, silverware, or cups unless hired by Hops and Hotrods. Cups, straws and ice will be provided if H&H is hired.
Do we provide overnight accommodations?
Yes. We have a guest house for rent at a rate of 250.00 per night and is located on the property with 3 queen beds, open concept kitchen and living room with amazing views. Room includes coffee, pastries, farm fresh eggs and berries to feed the peacocks!
Do you offer a day of coordinator?
Yes! You will have a coordinator from 10am to 7pm. These coordinators will not plan your day.. but execute your plan so that you are not having to look at your watch on your wedding day.
Can we have a dj or a live band?
You bet! We have a wonderful outdoor stage and dancefloor that is the epic place to have your dance party. We also have room indoors for a professional dj to get the party started.
Is there a separate space for cocktail hour?
Yes! We have a lower level that is wonderful for cocktail hour as well as an outdoor courtyard that is specifically suited for seating, drinks as well as beer burros!! (make sure to ask about our beer burros)
Do you have a sound system?
Yes. We have a portable sound system equipped with speakers, and microphones that we will set up and break down for an additional charge of 150.00.
Is there parking on site?
Yes. We have a parking attendant on site that will direct cars, trucks and handicap parking.
Do we provide overnight parking?
Yes. we would ask that cars be picked up by noon the next day.
Do you provide heaters for outdoor spaces?
Yes. We have several patio heaters, fire tables and a fire pit to keep guests nice and toasty.
Are there any hotels in the area?
Yes. Hotel Millwright, AmericInn, The Heartland Inn (with shuttle) and many bed and breakfasts in the area.
Do we allow pets?
Yes! we allow pets inside and outside as long as they are on a leash and well behaved.
Do you provide breakdown and set up?
Yes. We will do all the set up and break down. We will discuss with the couple, the set up that is preferred on the 30 day out meeting.
Is there a smoking area?
This is a non smoking property. If you have to smoke, we encourage you to go to your car and smoke inside your vehicle. We will monitor this. If we find cigarette butts on the ground, we will charge a clean up fee.
Is there a kitchen on site?
Yes! We have a full kitchen on the lower level that is included in the package pricing.
Do you offer clean up?
Yes. we do require you to put all the garbage in the garbage cans but we will sweep, mop and clean bathrooms.
Is this venue handicap accessible?
Yes.
Do you supply trash bags, toilet paper, hand soap and paper towels?
Yes.
